Martin Woodier Counselling
About Me

I am an experienced, accredited counsellor, registered with both the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the ACC (Association of Christians in Counselling), working within their ethical frameworks.

I began my career with a degree in Maths before training as a Psychiatric Nurse, where my interest in counselling first took root. Over 30 years ago, I moved into pastoral ministry and have been counselling individuals and couples ever since. Today, I work full-time as a counsellor, drawing on decades of experience to support people in their personal and emotional journeys and to help them navigate life’s challenges.
While my Christian faith is central to who I am, I warmly welcome clients from all walks of life - whether you're a person of faith, of a different faith, or no faith at all. I also have the privilege of supporting church leaders and pastors in their unique journeys.
